【Scope of application】

Disposable wound protector (hereinafter referred to as the protector) is suitable for small incision surgery and minimally invasive surgery to expand the incision field, prevent incision damage, and reduce incision infection.

【Product performance】

The two ends of the product are in the shape of trumpet rings, which can be elastically deformed to enter and exit the surgical incision. The channel connecting the insertion ring and the outer ring protects and stretches the incision. The channel of the wound protector can curl or stretch smoothly with the elastic deformation or elastic recovery of the insertion ring and the outer ring. The channel length of the GCQKA type protector can be adjusted according to surgical needs, and can be curled, reduced or stretched as the outer ring is manually turned over.

【Main structural components】

The disposable wound protector consists of an outer ring, an insertion ring and a channel。

【Instructions for use】

Choose the appropriate specification model according to the size of the incision at the surgical site, and choose the specification with the diameter of the outer ring slightly larger than the diameter of the incision.

1. GCQKA type wound protector

Flatten the insertion ring into a long and narrow oval shape with your hands and insert it into the incision. Within the incision, the inserted ring relies on its own elasticity to regain its round shape. Correct the position of the outer ring and correct the distortion of the channel. According to the thickness of the incisional tissue, turn the outer ring (double ring) of the fixator inward with both hands and gradually shorten the length of the channel so that the outer ring is firmly attached and fixed around the incision. At this time, the channel is close to the wall of the incision, and the insertion ring and the outer ring are located on the inner and outer sides of the incision respectively. Under the traction of the insertion ring and the outer ring, the channel generates tension to retract and expand the incision, exposing the surgical field.

2. GCQKB type wound protector

Flatten the insertion ring into a long and narrow oval shape with your hands and insert it into the incision. Within the incision, the inserted ring relies on its own elasticity to regain its round shape. After the insertion ring is sent into the incision, the channel membrane is close to the incision wall. The insertion ring and the outer ring are located on the inner and outer sides of the incision respectively. Under the traction of the insertion ring and the outer ring, the channel membrane generates tension to expand the incision and expose it. Surgical field of view.

When taking it out after the operation, use your fingers to extend into the channel of the wound protector, hold the edge of the insertion ring, and pull the insertion ring outward along the channel membrane to remove the wound protector smoothly.
