Suitable for purse-string suturing during open gastrointestinal surgery. The purse-string stapler should have excellent suturing performance. After firing, the staples and purse string should smoothly separate from the device. Tightening the purse string should allow for smooth purse closure.
Main Components
The disposable purse-string stapler (hereinafter referred to as the purse-string stapler) consists of upper and lower clamping bases, upper and lower locking teeth, a safety lever, a staple cartridge assembly, and a purse string. The staple cartridge assembly consists of a staple holder, a staple holder retaining plate, staples, and a staple pusher. The staple cartridge assembly is available in two sizes, 45 mm and 60 mm, depending on the effective suturing length.
