【Main structural components】

Disposable thoracic trocar (hereinafter referred to as the trocar) consists of a puncture rod, a puncture sleeve, and a locking fixed cover. According to the different appearance of the trocar, it is divided into two models, type A and type B; according to the different inner diameter of the puncture cannula, it is divided into four specifications.

Type A is mainly composed of puncture rod (ABS), puncture sleeve (PE), and locking fixed cover (silicone rubber).

Type B is mainly composed of puncture rod (ABS) and puncture cannula (ABS).

The type of trocar is shown in the figure below.

【Product performance】

1. The surface of the trocar should be smooth and free of defects such as burrs, bubbles, impurities, cracks, and sinter.
2. There should be no visible accumulation of lubricant on the surface of the trocar.
3. The movement of the trocar should be smooth and there should be no obstruction or sticking.
4. The puncture cannula and puncture rod should fit well, and there should be no sticking phenomenon when inserting and removing.
5. The matching gap between the puncture cannula port and the puncture rod should not be greater than 0.3mm.
6. When the puncture rod is fully inserted into the puncture cannula, the tapered part of the head end of the puncture rod should be fully exposed.
7. The trocar is sterilized with ethylene oxide. After sterilization, the residual amount of ethylene oxide should be ≤10μg/g after analysis.
8. The final packaging of the trocar should be sterile after sterilization with ethylene oxide.

【Instructions for use】

(Not intended as a guide to surgical anastomosis techniques) The instructions for use are as follows:

1. Select the trocar of corresponding specifications and models according to different usage requirements during surgery.
2. Open the package and take out the puncture cannula and puncture rod.
3. After installing the puncture cannula and puncture rod, aim at the area to be punctured for puncture. Pay attention to the technique when puncturing. First use a scalpel blade to pierce the epidermis. At the same time, lift up the epidermis. Hold the puncture device in your right hand and use the force of wrist rotation to slowly, steadily and vertically penetrate the chest cavity. When you feel a breakthrough in the chest cavity, withdraw the puncture rod immediately to prevent it from going too deep.
4. After the puncture is completed, withdraw the puncture rod from the puncture cannula
5. After the operation, remove the operating instrument from the puncture cannula.
6. Decide whether to withdraw the puncture cannula from the chest cavity or continue related surgical operations based on clinical surgical needs.
